Packaged with Care Behind the Scenes Video
Here's a quick behind the scenes look at how I packaged two custom paintings for shipping to their new home.
I wrap unframed paintings in protective glassine paper first. I like to use cardboard to prevent the canvas surface from being pressed or punctured. And then I add plenty of paper fill (or bubble wrap, depending on the box) to keep the artwork from shifting in transit. I strive to use eco-friendly packaging whenever possible, and will recycle the occasional art supply box, depending on the size of the artwork.
Do you have a question for me about making or shipping a custom art piece?
